Why are Websites so Full of Bull?

The post I’m linking you to today is really a well-written short essay on how small business owners have fallen into the various traps of self-promotion online. But I think it is a good read for anyone.  Because if you aren’t promoting a business, you might be a potential client for that business.

In the piece, the author Jeff Haden, takes to task the way we use so many glowing terms online at our websites.  Terms we’d never really use in person. He’s calling for a little more authenticity, less hubris.  I like it.  And it would seem I’ll have some website editing to get to now…
